We’re teaming up with Barre South and lululemon Charleston for an epic 80’s Blast-Off aerobics session a la Richard Simmons in the Courtyard at Cannon Green with DJ Trevor D spinning the tunes. After the 10:30 am class, stick around for our 80’s themed Beats + Brunch.

Free Poses For Panties Fundraiser with CPY – 7/19

Join Cannon Green and Charleston Power Yoga for a 60-minute yoga flow in the courtyard to benefit the The Undergarment Society. The Charleston Undergarment Society is a non-profit that provides bras and underwear to women living in transitional housing as a result of domestic violence, homelessness, or other unsafe conditions.
Cash donations and donations of bras or underwear are encouraged! All sizes are needed and appreciated! 100% of donations will go directly to the Undergarment Society and their work to help local women start anew.

Mental Health Yoga – 7/25
Yoga for Mental Health CHS will be partnering with Bendy Brewski Yoga to provide a meditative practice for mental health. A portion of proceeds will benefit the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

After you’ve got your fitspiration, it’s time to eat. Here are some of the items on our menu that will have you feeling healthy and fueled this summer.

Baby beets with burrata, grapefruit, pomegranates, crispy quinoa, and ligurian olive oil

Beets are extremely versatile and healthy – they’re low in calories and a great source of fiber and vitamin C. Some also claim that beets can have other positive side effects, such as strengthening your immune system, lowering blood pressure and even improving athletic performance. The baby beets pair perfectly with the fruity notes of grapefruit and pomegranate, and the superfood quinoa contains more protein than any other grain. Health-minded individuals may be scared off at the mention of burrata, but hey, you certainly deserve a little cheese in your life.

Trout with roasted sunchokes, strawberries, and vincotto

High in protein and low in fat, fish has numerous health benefits, and choosing trout over red meat every once in a while will help clear out your system. Sunchokes, a root vegetable rapidly rising in popularity, don’t only add an earthy flavor to the dish – they’re low calorie, high in fiber, and chock full of iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. The strawberries add a sweet touch to round out the flavor palate and keep it fresh and light.

Steak + eggs

Eating healthy is all about balance, and our steak and eggs have you covered for the key food groups – protein from the steak and the sunny side up eggs and carbs from the potatoes. Pair this brunch favorite with a bloody mary and you’ve got your fruits & veggies too, right? And if you treat yourself to some doughnut holes afterward, we promise, we won’t tell.
