On the Wine List: Harmonie 2013

We know of few better ways to relax after a long and tiring work week than with a tasty food and wine pairing. The refreshing Michel Delhommeau Harmonie Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie 2013 served alongside some of our favorite dishes at Cannon Green might be just what you need.

On the Nose: Green fruit (Granny Smith apple, lime zest), wet stone and minerality

On the Palate: Medium-bodied with lots of lemon curd, lime zest, and slate minerality

Suggested Pairings: There are many dishes that work well with this wine because of its light salinity, including the Raw Artichoke or Baby Beets Salad, Corn Soup with Lobster, Heirloom Tomatoes, American Red Snapper, Local Shrimp Escabeche, Yellowfin Tuna, Pan-Roasted Red Fish, and Chevre Tortellini Tuna. You’ve probably made a lot of decisions this week, but this will be a fun and rewarding one–we promise!

Cannon Green is open for dinner Tuesday – Saturday, 5 – 11 pm;
and Sunday Brunch, 11 am – 3 pm. Reservations are recommended.
